Reinado de Thutmosis IV Y Amen-Hotep III.

 

Menna fue un alto funcionario que vivió durante los reinados de Thutmosis IV y su hijo Amen-Hotep III. Llevó los títulos de Supervisor de los Campos de Amon y Escriba de los Campos del Señor de las Dos Tierras.
Su tumba localizada en la necropolis de Sheik Abd el-Qurna, guarda una de las decoraciones mas frescas y hermosas de esta dinastía, con abundantes escenas de caza, pesca y escenas agrícolas de las que participa tanto Menna como su esposa Henut-Tauy y sus hijos.

Ha sido restaurada por la Misión Arqueológica del ARCE.

Reign of Thutmose IV and Amen-Hotep III.

Menna was a high official who lived during the reigns of Thutmose IV and his son Amen-Hotep III. He carried the titles of Overseer of the Fields of Amon and Scribe of the Fields of the Lord of the Two Lands.

His tomb located in the necropolis of Sheik Abd el-Qurna, keeps one of the freshest and most beautiful decorations of this dynasty, with abundant hunting, fishing and agricultural scenes in which both Menna and his wife Henut-Tauy and their sons.

It has been restored by the ARCE.
